Track and Field Clinic January 2012 A portion of the Varsity Girls Track and Field Team went to their 1st Track and Field Clinic at University of Buffalo January 16th with the help of Sports Booster's. Twenty athletes attended the clinic; Diane Sill, Abby David, Maria Knapp, Alexa Young, Jamie Smith, Tania Arellano, Hannah Reynolds, Alexis Bartel, Maya Rutland, Taylor Rutland, Jenna Jacob, Annaliese Bosko, Jessica Hofer, Corelee Frietag, Brook Andrus, Sidney Lane, Kerri Furness, Lillian Klafehn, Jenna Losapio, and Lizzie Rath. The clinic was held at the Alumni Arena located on the North Campus of University at Buffalo and focused on Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Hurdles, Relays, Mid Distance, Shot Put and Discus. The clinic held three sessions of each of these track events and our athletes received one on one attention from Division 1 track coaches. Approaches, form, marks, core exercises, dynamic stretching, and key drills were taught. The athletes had a fantastic time! Thank you to the Sports Boosters in the help to fund this Clinic!
