Dear Parent(s): We would like to invite you and your student(s) (students in grades 8-11) to College Information Night. The school counselors from Kendall, Holley, Brockport, Hilton, Spencerport and Wheatland-Chili have combined efforts to bring you this program. This evening is designed to help you become more knowledgeable about the college admissions process. The program will consist of a panel of college admissions counselors reviewing two high school student transcripts. During this process general college admission practices will be discussed. Admissions representatives from the following colleges will be on the panel: Rochester Institute of Technology, Bryant & Stratton, St. John Fisher, Medaille College, SUNY Binghamton, SUNY UB, University of Rochester, Finger Lakes Community College and SUNY Brockport. After the panel discussion each college representative will be available at a table to hand out their college's literature and to answer any questions you may have about their institution or about the college admissions process in general. The College Information Night will be held on Tuesday March 8th, 2011, from 6.45 PM to 9:15 PM in the Hilton High School auditorium. We encourage you to attend and get first hand information from college personnel. If you have questions about the program please feel free to contact the counseling office at 659-8649.
