Kendall CSD Music Program Advances Kendall Central School District is making great strides with its music program, including advances with the Kendall Royal Blue Marching Band and the High School Jazz Band. Recently, the High School Jazz Band traveled to Cleveland, Ohio, to perform for adjudication, visit the Hard Rock Café, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and celebrate at an awards dinner banquet. The group was awarded the Spirit of Cleveland award, for the school that best represents their community, and a silver music grade as another accomplishment. Joe Pompili, Kendall Sr. High School music teacher, said the experience allowed the students to be able to see the importance of team work. "The discipline of these students and our music program is really beginning to advance, said Pompili. "The students are marching better and are more responsive to the commands of our outstanding Drum Majorette Becki Rossi." Additionally, the Kendall Royal Blue Marching Band, which includes 40 students in grades six-12, is progressively moving forward. Recently, the Marching Band placed fourth at Gorham.
