Fall Funraisers A Success! Eventhough high winds and rain arrived for the annual Can Drive this year, the Kendall community still had their cans & bottles ready for curbside pick-up. One and a half trucks full of recycables were collected by student-athlete/parent drivers and sorted by student-athletes, parents and coaches who showed to volunteer in raising funds for KCS athletic programs. Those in attendance were treated to lunch provided by Sports Boosters. The rain and cold weather prevailed for the Chicken BBQ but didn't have an effect on sales. With close to eight-hundred dinners sold, this event is both a crowd pleaser and successful fundraiser! We thank everyone (coaches, parents, student-athletes and community) for their continued support and dedication to our organization! Kendall Eagle Apparel Will be displayed at Homecoming. Parents of Student Athletes Concessions contribute a large portion of profit for the Sports Boosters and without adult staffing, cannot continue. As parents, you are aware that many times student-athletes don't arrive home on game nights until late and as parents, many of us are leaving from work to come watch our kids play. The accessibility for a quick snack or drink is needed for the many in attendance. We ask that parent(s) of KCS student-athletes committ to volunteering for concessions to allow this profitable source of income for our athletic programs continue. We would like to request your involvement with fulfilling a block of time during athletic contests. To insure parents the ability to watch their child compete, normal procedure is for Varsity parents to volunteer during JV contests and the likewise. Sign-up calendars will make it's first introduction during the Winter Sports Parent Meeting and are always posted during concessions. Meetings are not mandatory but we love to see parents supporting their child's athletic involvement. Meetings are held to share ideas, suggestions for improvements, assist in planning upcoming events or just to sit! Skill or Talent(s) are needed for ongoing projects within the Boosters. Everyone can contribute in some little way!
